I created this journal to celebrate my 38th birthday, to force myself to write every day, and to totally copy thought expert and author Seth Godin.
,,,,Posts about my experimenting with Turo and renting out my car
It’s happening. This afternoon, I go get the kids in Meridian, MS. I haven’t had to put gas in Clarity since I filled the tank after returning from a trip to take the kids back to Meridian on 20 June.
The Clarity has both a full fuel tank and full battery charge. The CRV is on its second Turo trip. This is what it feels like to see investments save and earn me money?
This is f****** fantastic, Fred! I love it here.
Getting new tires between Turo trips
A fresh set of four new tires were delivered in four days via tirerack.com. It’s nice to see Tire Rack is still in the game; I used to order and pick up tires at a TR warehouse when I was stationed at Barksdale Air Force Base, Louisiana. Great times.
Hopefully, I can get the tires mounted on seven July, the day the second Turo trip ends and the third Turo trip starts. Actually, that’s something I have to make happen.
My third Turo driver has already informed me that she will be driving to CRV to Kissimmee, Florida. Yeah, I definitely prefer that she has the new tires mounted before making that trip.
While drafting this post, a driver booked the CRV for trip #4.
